St. Ben’s Volleyball Advances At NCAAs

The St. Ben's Volleyball team defeated Dominican of Illinois 3 games to none Thursday afternoon in the regional quarterfinals in the NCAA Division III tournament at St. Thomas in St. Paul.  Sophie Stangl led the Blazers with 10 kills and both Lexi Alm and Kendra Coleman added 9 kills apiece.  St. Ben's improves to 28-5.

The Blazers will play Northwestern College at 4:30 today at St. Thomas in St. Paul.  Northwestern defeated UW-Stevens Points  in 5 games.  UW-Eau Claire defeated Wartburg in 5 games and St. Thomas downed Cornell of Iowa in 5 games.
