Sox Score Early In Win Against Twins
The Chicago White Sox topped the Twins 5-2 at Target Field on Friday night. Adam Dunn and Jeff Keppinger had home runs for Chicago to give the Sox a 4-1 lead after four innings.
Joe Mauer hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning and Brian Dozier had a seventh inning RBI single to account for the Twins' only runs. Minnesota was just 1-12 with runners in scoring position.
The Twins and Sox will meet again Saturday night in Minneapolis. Chris Sale will get the start for Chicago against Minnesota rookie lefty Andrew Albers.
