ARDEN HILLS - Saint John's led by five going into halftime but couldn't hold off Bethel in the second half, falling 66-51 on Saturday.

SJU falls to 9-9 overall and 7-6 in the MIAC. Bethel is now 12-7 and 8-6 in the MIAC with the win.

SJU finished shooting 38 percent from the field. Sophomore Mitchell Kuck was the only Johnnie to reach double digits with 11 points. Junior Blake Maslonkowski added eight rebounds and six points for Saint John's.

SJU will hit the road for a Monday night match-up against Gustavus Adolphus. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
