SCSU Women’s Hockey Loses Opener

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Huskies women hockey team lost their season opener 5-2 to the #6-ranked Boston University at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis last night.

Trailing 2-1 in the third period, a goal by Huskies Junior forward Molly Illikainen tied the game.

The game slipped away as BU scored three goals in the final five minutes to win 5-2.

The Huskies play again today against Penn State at Ridder Arena.
