SCSU Women’s Hockey Falls to Bemidji 3-0 in Regular Season Finale
ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud State women's hockey team wrapped up their regular season on Saturday, falling to Bemidji State 3-0.
Bemidji State picked up an early lead in the first period. Danielle Williams scored at the 2:23 mark to make it 1-0.
BSU added to their lead in the second, thanks to a goal from Stephanie Anderson. Kaitlyn Tougas scored in the third to make it 3-0 Bemidji State.
Julie Friend made 22 stops in front of the net for the Huskies in the contest. St. Cloud State finishes the regular season with a 4-25-5 overall record and 3-21-4-2 record in the WCHA.
The Huskies will travel to Minneapolis next weekend for the WCHA playoffs. SCSU will play the #1 seeded Minnesota Gophers for a best of three matchup.
