ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud State University Student Government fall election results are currently pending due to a judicial investigation. The fall elections included the results on the student activity fee referendum.

St. Cloud State University students voted to raise the fees they pay in order to boost the athletic department three years ago. Students were being asked to vote to renew the fee this fall.

The fall elections also cover voting for 12 college senators, and another referendum to bring back Homecoming. The results are expected to be pushed back and released next Thursday during the Student Government meeting. No further information is available on the investigation.

St. Cloud State President Earl Potter was at the meeting. He says student athletics are essential to the University and bring the community and the campus together.

President Potter also says that regardless of the referendum results, the University will continue to focus on keeping each University sports team competitive.
