SCSU Softball Wins NSIC Tournament Opener

The. St. Cloud State softball team defeated the University of Mary 2-1 in their first game of  the NSIC tournament in Rochester Friday.  Taylor Thomas hit a 2-run homerun for SCSU and Kelly Franks threw all 7 innings to get the win for SCSU.  St. Cloud State is 28-24 this season and SCSU will play against Minnesota State-Mankato this afternoon.
