SCSU hockey recruit Charlie Lindgren was named 2013 Dave Peterson Goalie of the Year. The award is presented annually to the nation's top junior hockey goaltender.

Lindgren, playing for Sioux Falls of the USHL, posted a record of 35-14-2 on the season with a GAA of 2.80 and a .900 save percentage.

A Lakeville native, Lindgren spent two seasons with the Stampede.  He calls the award a great honor, and says he will carry the award with him for the rest of his life.
