SCSU Men’s Basketball Wins Season Opener 64-51

ST. CLOUD - Matt Craggs led all scorers with 13 points and had a team high nine rebounds as the Huskies defeated Northwestern 64-51 to open the season last night.

Senior guard Damarius Cruz put up 11 points for the Huskies during the action. SCSU finished shooting 40 percent from the field.

The Huskies will be back in action to host the St. Cloud State Basketball Classic next weekend. The Huskies will face Saint John's University at 4 p.m. on Saturday and Mayville state at 6 p.m. Sunday.
