The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team defeated Colorado College 4-1 Saturday night in Colorado Springs to complete a weekend sweep. The Huskies are now 6-4 overall on the season, and 2-2 in NCHC play.

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead halfway through the first period with a power play goal after Dennis Cholowski was whistled for hooking.

However, the CC lead would prove to be short-lived, thanks to a pair of Mikey Eyssimont goals. The first came with less than a minute remaining in the first period, the second on the power play less than two minutes into the second period.

Blake Winiecki and Jimmy Schuldt each added goals to seal the win for SCSU.

The Huskies host the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks this weekend at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The Huskies can be heard all season long on REV 96.7 FM.
