SCSU Baseball Takes NSIC Tournament

The St. Cloud State baseball team beat Concordia-St.Paul 6-4 Sunday afternoon to take the NSIC Tournament for the second straight year. The Huskies will host the Central Regional Tournament beginning Thursday.

Karl Sorenson paced the offense with two hits and a run batted in, and Cal Giese picked up the win for SCSU.

The Huskies will play against Minnesota State-Mankato in the first round of the Central Regional on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Joe Faber Field.
