The St. Cloud State baseball team's historic season came to an end with a 11-3 loss to Henderson State Sunday evening. The Huskies season ends with a 54-5 record.

Despite losing the opening game of the tournament on Friday morning, the Huskies had a chance to advance to the Division II College World Series in Cary, North Carolina with a pair of wins on Sunday.

It appeared they were on their way early, jumping out to a 7-2 lead after 2.5 innings, but the Reddies scored a run in the sixth, another in the seventh, two in the eighth to tie the game.

With the score tied at seven in the top of the ninth the skies opened up, creating a rain delay that lasted for over two hours. Henderson State ended the game with a walk-off single in the bottom of the tenth.
