SCSU Baseball Pounds Northern State

The St. Cloud State baseball team scored a combined 37 runs and had 39 hits in their doubleheader sweep of Northern State Wednesday.  SCSU won game 1 16-2 and won game 2 21-12.  Joey Peters had a homerun and 3 RBIs and Brian Hansen had 3 hits, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs in game 1 for SCSU.

St. Cloud State is 31-10 overall and 16-6 in the NSIC.  SCSU is ranked #3 this week in the Central Region poll.  Minnesota State-Mankato is ranked #1 with Colorado Mesa ranked #2.  The Huskies host Minnesota-Crookston Saturday at 2pm.
