Sauk Rapids Cyclones Win State Tourney Game

The Sauk Rapids Cyclones defeated Chaska 5-2 in the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament Sunday to stay in the winners bracket.  Nick Anderson threw the complete game to get the win for the Cyclones.  Sauk Rapids will play Mankato at 1pm Saturday in Brownton.

The Cold Spring Silver Springers defeated Woodbury 4-2 in the 35 and Older State Amateur Baseball Tournament Sunday.  The Silver Springers will play their next game at 2:15 Saturday.

The Ultimate Snappers won their first game 5-2 over St. Patrick in the Class C State Amateur Baseball tournament and will play Fairmont at 5pm in Brownton Friday night in the 2nd round.
