Saturday Morning Coaches’ Show: Boys Hockey [AUDIO]

Four local boys hockey coaches joined the Saturday Morning Coaches’ Show to talk St. Cloud area hockey.

Apollo head coach Pete Matanich joined the show in studio at the top of the hour. The Eagles finished the regular season 14-10 overall and earned the #3 seed in Section 6A.

Tech Tigers coach Joel Heitkamp joined on the telephone to preview his team’s matchup with #2 seed (Section 8AA) Moorhead. The Tigers finished the regular season at 11-13 after suffering losses in six of their last seven games.

Sauk Rapids-Rice wrapped up an excellent season with a 17-8 record under first year head coach John Kothenbeutel. The coach joined us to preview the Storm’s playoff game against cross-town rival Sartell-St. Stephen.
