The Minnesota Wild lost a second straight game Thursday night with a 3-1 setback at Tampa Bay. Minnesota again ran in to a hot goaltender, this time the Lightning's Ben Bishop, who made 25 saves.

Tampa Bay scored the fist period's only goal at 14:02 when Tyler Johnson beat Wild goalie Josh Harding on the power play for a 1-0 lead.

Neither team scored in the second period, and each team went 0-2 on the power play in the middle frame.

The Wild tied the game at 11:05 of the third period when Nino Niederreiter found Mikko Koivu with a cross-ice pass from the right wing side. Koivu sniped a shot past Bishop over the left shoulder, hugging the outer post and knotting the game at one.

The deadlock did not last long, with Steven Stamkos scoring for Tampa Bay on a breakaway for a 2-1 lead. The Lightning would add a third goal into the empty net late in the third for to cap the scoring.

The Wild fall to 3-3-2 on the season and are at Florida Saturday night.
