Adam Martin and Luke Weber hit back-to-back home runs and the St. Cloud Rox topped the Thunder Bay Border Cats 5-2 Tuesday night at Joe Faber Field. The Rox are now 4-2 in the second half of the season.

Tyler DuPlantis hit a two-out, solo home run in the top of the first inning for the Border Cats to open the scoring, but Martin and Weber gave the Rox a 2-1 lead when they each homered on the first pitch of their at bats in the bottom of the fourth.

The Cats manufactured a run on a Cory Kay double in the top of the fifth to tie the game at two, but St. Cloud again answered back when Tim Colwell singled to center for a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the inning.

Colwell ended the game with three hits to lead the offense, but the story of the night was great pitching and defense for the Rox. Kyle Davis wriggled his way out of many jams in his six innings of work as St. Cloud's starting pitcher, thanks in large part to an error-free defense behind him.

The Rox trail Waterloo by two games in the North Division. The Bucks are 6-0 in the second half.
