Rox Gain Ground With Win Over Rafters

The St. Cloud Rox moved to within 3.5 games of first place Waterloo with a 13-5 win at Wisconsin Rapids Sunday. First place Waterloo lost 12-4 at Lakeshore later in the night.

Blake Headley had a monster game at the plate for the Rox, going 4-5 with six runs batted in and three runs scored, including a two-run blast in the late innings.

Clay Williamson continued a recent hot streak by going 2-4 with two RBI from the leadoff spot.

The Rox are off Monday and will play at Wisconsin Rapids again on Tuesday night.
