The St. Cloud Rox fell to the Waterloo Bucks by a 6-3 final score Friday night at Joe Faber Field.

Alex McRae pitched effectively in his second start of the season, lasting five innings without allowing an earned run and allowing only three hits. He did, however, witness two unearned runs cross the plate during the outing.

Adam Martin hit his first home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth for the Rox that tied the game at two, but Waterloo scored three in the top of the sixth to pull away for the win.

The Rox will host Waterloo Saturday night for the second game of a two game series.
