Rocori Football Downs Rogers In State Quarters

Rocori downed Rogers 17-6 in the Class 4A State tournament quarterfinals at St. Cloud State's Husky Stadium Thursday night.  The Spartans led 7-0 at halftime and held in the 2nd half.  Nate Meyer threw for 156 yards and a touchdown and ran 19 times for 70 yards and another score for Rocori.

Rocori improves to 10-1 and will play at 12:45pm Saturday November 19 at the Metrodome against either Faribault or Hill Murray.  Hear the game on WJON with Ty James and Chris Chapman.  Faribault plays Hill Murray at East Ridge High School tonight at 7pm in a Class 4A State Quarterfinal game.
