River Bats Top Duluth 8-2

The River Bats beat the Duluth Huskies 8-2 in Duluth Wednesday night.  Kyle Stiner had 3 hits and 2 runs scored, Ronald Sucre had 3 hits, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Carlos Lopez had 3 RBIs for the River Bats.  Tim Verthein threw 2 scoreless innings with 1 hit allowed to get the win for St. Cloud.

The Bats are 11-9 and will host Duluth tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  St. Cloud is still 3 games back of Alexandria for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  Tonight's game is Elvis Night presented by Thrivent Financial.
