River Bats Top Border Cats For 6th Straight Win
The St. Cloud River Bats defeated Thunder Bay 5-2 Friday afternoon to win their 6th straight game. The Bats were led by Bryan Peters and Bryan Haar with 3 hits apiece and Peters drove in 2 runs for St. Cloud. Connor Eppard and Kyle Stiner each added 2 hits for the Bats. Matt Iannazzo threw 7 innings with 10 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win.
Alex Caravella threw a scoreless 9th inning for the save. St. Cloud had 14 hits and Thunder Bay had 12 hits. The Bats improve to 8-13 and will play at Thunder Bay at 6:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.
