Prep Girls Tennis Update; State Tourney Individuals

St. Cloud Tech's Taylor Tarrolly won her opening match in Class AA Singles 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 over Prior Lake's Dani Keller but lost in her next match 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 to Natalie Phippen of Stillwater and Tarrolly was eliminated.  The Tech doubles team of Leah Wurm and Sam Eisenreich lost their first round match 6-1, 6-4 to a team from Forest Lake before losing 6-1, 6-0 to a team from Delano in the consolation quarterfinals.

The Cathedral doubles team of Erin Stocker and Greta Egerman lost their first round match 6-2, 6-1 to a doubles team from Blake before winning 6-0, 4-6, 10-8 over a team from Eveleth-Gilbert in the consolation quarterfinals.  Egerman and Stocker play a team from St. James today at 8am in the consolation semifinals.  All of the these matches are being played at Baseline Tennis Center at the University of Minnesota.
