Section 85A Quarterfinals
Apollo 26, Sauk Rapids-Rice 9
(Sauk Rapids-Rice went out to a 9-0 lead but Apollo scored 2 2nd quarter touchdowns to lead 13-9 at halftime.  Derek Alexander ran for 2 touchdowns and Ben Alvord threw for 2 touchdowns including a 78-yard touchdown pass to Noel Thiegen for Apollo.  Joel Haller threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Zack Silbernick for the lone Sauk Rapids touchdown.  Matt Meyer made a 28-yard field goal as well for the Storm.  Apollo has won 4 straight and is 4-5.  The Eagles play against 2nd seeded Sartell-St. Stephen Saturday night at 7pm at St. Cloud State.  The Sabres are 6-2 and had a 1st round bye).  Highlights from Tuesdays game from Jay Caldwell on AM 1390-the Fan.

Alexandria 39, Tech 12
(Chris Berg had a 4-yard touchdown run for Tech.  Tech played without star running back Jacob Peteson who broke his fibula last Wednesday against Rocori.  Tech ends their season with a 5-game losing streak and finished with a 3-6 record.  Alexandria will play at top seeded Moorhead at 7pm Saturday)

Cathedral 28, Milaca 14
(Cathedral head coach Dean Taylor wins his 200th career game as a high school football head coach.  Cathedral improves to 4-5 and will play at 2nd seeded Foley at 7pm Saturday night)
