Viking head coach Leslie Frazier is staying with Donavan McNabb but for how long? I say it's time to go with the rookie, Christian Ponder or 2nd year man Joe Webb. McNabb is completing just 58% of his passes and is averaging just 158 yards passing per game. An inexperienced quarterback could do that and could get better in the process. Ponder is the obvious choice because he was a first round pick but if Ponder isn't ready then Webb would be a better option than McNabb.

At 34-years old McNabb isn't going to all of a sudden get better and lead this team to the playoffs.  At 0-4 the season is almost certainly lost and it's time to find out what they have in Ponder and/or Webb.  If the Vikings continue down this path they could be in line to have the first overall pick in the draft and have a shot at Stanford standout quarterback Andrew Luck.  Frazier needs to cut his losses and turn to Ponder now.
