The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Minnesota Twins 7-3 Thursday afternoon at Target Field to avoid a three-game sweep. The Twins fall to 23-49 on the season with the loss.

Ricky Nolasco had another shaky outing for the Twins, lasting 6.2 innings while allowing four runs on ten hits and four walks. Kevin Jepson served up a three-run home run in the eighth inning to put the game out of reach.

The Twins hit the road Friday to begin a series with the New York Yankees. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON, with pregame coverage beginning at 5:30.
