CLEVELAND – The Minnesota Twins ran out of steam down the stretch, falling to the Cleveland Indians 7-2 on Friday.

The Twins scored both of their runs in the first inning. Josh Willingham hit a sacrifice fly to score Brian Dozier for his first RBI of the year. Chris Colabello also hit an opposite field home run to make it 2-0 in the first.

Mike Pelfrey was on fire through the first five innings before completely unraveling in the sixth, giving up the lead with home runs from Yan Gomes and Nick Swisher.

The Twins are now 1-3 this season. They’ll look to bounce back against the Indians on Saturday at 12:05 p.m. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON.
