Dust Off Your Super Nintendo! A New Game is Coming to the Classic Console
It has been more than 14 years since the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) has had a new game to make it feel special and useful. Now a gaming company has offered a new reason to plug the thing back into your TV’s A/V output — a brand-new game for the classic console.
Turns out, it’s not a totally brand new title for the classic gaming system. It’s actually an unreleased title that was supposed to hit shelves in the twilight of the SNES’ heyday but was shelved in the figurative sense.
So far, Super Fighter Team put a 2013 release date on the console game and have started taking pre-orders in anticipation of its release. A single cartridge will cost around $70, but can you put a price on something that will take you back to the carefree days of gaming when opening a fresh video game cartridge carried so much hope and wonder?
