The Twins beat the Tigers 4-3 at Target Field Tuesday night. Former Twin Joe Nathan blew a save for the seventh time this season as Minnesota rallied in the ninth inning.

The Twins led 2-0 heading into the top of the ninth before Glen Perkins allowed three Tiger runs in the top of the ninth inning. J.P. Martinez hit a three-run home run for Detroit off of the Twins closer to give his team the lead.

However, Nathan allowed a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth inning on a Kurt Suzuki double and Aaron Hicks infield single. Nathan now has a 5.15 ERA in what has been a disasterous season for the former Twins All Star.

Minnesota hosts Detroit again on Wednesday night.
