Martin Star Among Stars At Monday’s NWL Showcase Game

Five members of the Rox played in the first ever Northwoods League Big League Dreams Showcase Monday night in Madison.

Adam Martin went 2-3 with a three-run home run and four RBI, Chris Paul was 1-2, Vince Jackson was 0-4 with a run scored and Clay Williamson walked in his only plate appearance.

Two Rox pitchers appeared as well.

Alex McRae got the start and went one inning, walking one and striking out one. Kyle Fischer pitched the sixth inning and allowed one run on one hit and two walks.

The Rox are back in action Tuesday night at Wisconsin Rapids. St. Cloud is just 3.5 games out of first place with a record of 14-8. Waterloo is in first place at 18-5.
