The Twins lost 2-0 in Seattle Friday night to fall to 6-10 on the season.  Felix Hernandez threw the complete game 5-hit shutout with 9 strikeouts with no walks to get the win.  Phil Hughes pitched well for the Twins throwing 8 innings with 5 hits and 2 runs allowed with 9 strikeouts and no walks.  Logan Morrison and Nelson Cruz each hit solo homeruns for the Mariners.  Trevor Plouffe had 2 of the 5 hits for the Twins.

Minnesota will play the 2nd game of the 3-game series at Seattle tonight at 8:10, pregame on WJON at 7:30.  Righthander Trever May (0-1) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander James Paxson (0-1) toes the rubber for the Mariners.
