The Lynx improved to 14-3 with an 81-69 win over the Phoenix Mercury in a matinee at Target Center. A Lynx-record crowd of 16,404 witnessed the win.

Lynx point guard Lindsay Whalen led all scorers with 18 points and added seven assists.
