Lumberjacks Look To Stay On A Roll This Weekend

The Granite City Lumberjacks bounced back from a winless opening weekend to earn a pair of victories last weekend.

The 'Jacks beat the Twin City Steel 7-1 on Friday night behind a five-point effort from Aidan Verbeke (4 G, 1 A). Granite City earned a 4-1 win over the Alexandria Blizzard Saturday night thanks to a 42-shot performance highlighted by a two point night from Zac Sikich.

This weekend the Lumberjacks are scheduled to host the Breezy Point North Stars on Friday night at Sports Arena East, followed by a game at Little Falls Saturday.
