The Toronto Blue Jays won the rubber match of a three game series in Toronto with the Twins by a final score of 11-5 Sunday. Twins starter Scott Diamond allowed three home runs in the losing effort.

Toronto got on the board first when Colby Rasmus took Diamond deep for a two run home run in the bottom of the fourth.

The Twins answered with a pair of runs in the top of the fifth on a two run Aaron Hicks home run, his seventh of the season.

However, the Jays rocked Diamond in the bottom of the fifth on their third trip through the batting order and put up four runs on a pair of home runs. Jose Reyes led off the inning with a tiebreaking solo shot to left field, then Rajai Davis hit a three-run blast into the second deck in left field for a 6-2 lead.

The Jays added a run in the sixth and four more in the seventh inning in building an 11-3 lead.

Trevor Plouffe had a two-run home run in the top of the eighth to cut the Toronto lead to 11-5, but that would be as close as the Twins would get.
