The Minnesota Wild have lost 3 games in a row after winning 7 straight 2-1 to the New York Islanders in an overtime shootout.  The Wild do get a point for the overtime loss.  Cal Clutterbuck scored the lone Minnesota goal in regulation.  Franz Nielsen scored the lone goal in the shootout to win the game for the Islanders.  Niklas Backstrom had 35 saves for Minnesota.

The Wild are 20-8-5 and with 45 points lead the Northwest Division by 5 points over 2nd place Vancouver.  The Wild play at Vancouver at 9pm Monday night, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 8:35.
