ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud State men's hockey team shut out Western Michigan in a dominating 7-0 win on Friday night.

Six different players scored for the Huskies, with goalie Charlie Lindgren shutting out the Mustangs with 23 saves and David Morley's two goals leading the way.

Brooks Bertsch began the scoring barrage with an unassisted goal midway through the first period.

After Morley's first goal of the game, the Huskies went into the second period leading 2-0.  Joe Rehkamp, Patrick Russell and Jonny Brodzinski each scored goals in the second period to extend the lead to 5-0.

Kalle Kossila added another score and Morley's second goal of the game capped off the dominating 7-0 victory for the Huskies.

With the win, the Huskies improve to 10-12-1 and will look to inch closer to .500 with a rematch against Western Michigan tonight.
