ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team came to play last (Friday) night after defeating Nebraska-Omaha 4-1 in game one of the weekend series.

The Huskies took a 2-0 lead in early in second period thanks to Judd Peterson, but Nebraska-Omaha's Jake Guentzel brought it back within one thanks to a goal in the same period.

SCSU Senior Jimmy Murray would knock in one more goal in the period and help seal the deal for the huskies.

Goaltender Charlie Lindgren made 26 saves, helping the huskies improve to 12-3-0 overall.

Both teams square off for game two tonight (Saturday), drop of the puck is at 7:07 p.m.
