Huskies Men’s Basketball Falls To MSUM

ST. CLOUD -- A scoring surge from a Huskies junior was not enough as SCSU lost to undefeated Minnesota State-Moorhead 98-85 Friday night.

SCSU guard Jordan Poydras scored a game-high 31 points after being held scoreless in the first half.

Kevin Levandoski scored 12 points and three other Huskies finished in double figures, but SCSU could not close the gap against the Dragons.

Five MSUM players finished in double figures and the 11-0 Dragons held a 25-point lead at one point in the second half.

The loss drops the Huskies to 5-4 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.

The Huskies will host Northern State tonight at Halenbeck Hall with a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
