Huskies Knocked Out of Playoffs, Lose 59-21 to Northwest Missouri State

MARYVILLE – The St. Cloud State Huskies were knocked out of the NCAA quarterfinals today with a 59-21 loss to Northwest Missouri State. The Huskies finish with a 12-2 overall record this season.

Quarterback  Phillip Klaphake finished 11/28 for 169 yards and a touchdown for St. Cloud State. Michael Walker rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown off of 14 carries.

On defense, Miky Woods and Kyle Risinger both recorded 10 tackles for the Huskies.

Northwest Missouri State picked up 541 yards of offence while rushing for seven touchdowns. They advance to the semifinals against Grand Valley State University next weekend.
