The Tech Tigers came away with a convincing road win over the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm Friday night 79-48. The Tigers led 41-24 and pulled away further in the second half, resting most of their regular starters through most of the second half. Andy Foley and Jake Martig each scored 19 points for the Tigers, who had 8 different players score points. The Storm by Riley Stockinger and Alec Burkland with 11 and 10 points respectively. The Storm were 10-23 from the free throw line and trailed by 40 points until late in the second half. In the last 10 meetings against Sauk Rapids-Rice, Tech is 10-0. The last time Sauk Rapids beat Tech was in 2003. Point totals for both teams are as follows:
