Sartell 56, Sauk Rapids 7
The Sabres cruised to an easy win Friday night in Sauk Rapids despite a lengthy lightning delay by beating the Storm 56-7. The Sabres got 2 touchdown passes from Brandon Snoberger, as well as touchdown runs from Derek Stachowski, Nick Jensen, Andrew Grant and Hodari Johnson. Sartell led 35-7 at halftime. The win brings Sartell's record to 4-3 and drops the Storm to 0-7. Up next for Sartell is a home game against St. Cloud Apollo on the 18th. The Storm play at Rocori on the 18th.

After losing starting quarterback Ben Alvord for the season earlier in the week, the Eagles beat the crosstown rival Tigers by a final score of 21-6 at home Friday night. The Tigers lead 6-0 at the half before the Eagles rallied for 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Eagles move to 6-1 on the season and travel to Sartell in their next game on the 18th. The Tigers fall to 5-2 and travel to Willmar to take on the Cardinals on Friday the 18th.

Willmar 56, Rocori 13
The Willmar Cardinals rolled over the Spartans Friday night in Cold Spring. The loss drops the Spartans to 1-6 on the season. Rocori hosts Sauk Rapids next Friday. The Spartans had turnovers on their first two possessions which led to 14 Willmar points. Willmar scored 21 points overall in the first quarter and never looked back, leading 42-0 at halftime. The Cardinals were led by quarterback Augustine Hahn; who had 2 rushing touchdowns as well as 2 passing touchdowns, and Michael Heitzman; who had 3 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdowns. The Spartans got on the scoreboard late in the third quarter thanks to a touchdown pass from Skippy Virchow to Mason Ruegemer. The Spartans also got another score in the 4th quarter thanks to another touchdown pass from Skippy Virchow, this time to Cole Nelson to pull the score to 56-13. That is as close as the Spartans would get as the clock went to running time in the 4th with the Spartans down big.
