SAUK RAPIDS -- Lumberjacks defenseman Brycon Johnson scored three goals in Granite City's 4-0 win over Alexandria last night.

Johnson opened the scoring midway through the first period with a goal assisted by Zach Voss and Blake Phenow.

Ninety-four seconds later, Lumberjacks forward Tanner Skaja extended the lead to 2-0 after his 10th goal of the season.

The score remained 2-0 until Johnson scored two power play goals to get the hat trick, as Granite City won their 15th game of the year.

The Lumberjacks will play Alexandria again tonight with the puck dropping at 7:10 p.m. at Rhino Deck Arena.
