Gophers Host Michigan In Battle For Little Brown Jug

The Gopher football team trys to win their 2nd straight Big Ten game when they host Michigan at 11am Saturday morning, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 10am.  The Gophers are 5-3 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten.  Michigan is 3-1 in the Big Ten and 5-3 overall.  Michigan lost 23-9 to Nebraska last Saturday.

Michigan leads the all-time series with the Gophers 67-23-3.  The last time the Gophers won the Little Brown Jug was in 2005 when Glen Mason was the head coach for Minnesota.  Freshman Philip Nelson will start at quarterback again for the Gophers.
