The 25th ranked Gopher men's basketball team won 62-45 at Iowa Sunday night to end a 4-game losing streak.  Trevor Mbakwe led the Gophers with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Rodney Williams added 13 points.  Mbakwe scored 22 of his 24 points in the 2nd half and Williams scored 11 of his 13 points in the 1st half.  The Gophers shot 47 percent while Iowa shot 34 percent.  Minnesota is 17-8 overall and 6-7 in the Big Ten.  The Gophers will play at Penn State at 6pm Thursday, pregame on WJON at 5:30.
