Gophers Down Penn State For 4th Straight Victory

MINNEAPOLIS - David Cobb had 139 yards on the ground and a touchdown as the Gophers picked up their fourth straight victory over Penn State 24-10.

Minnesota improves to 8-2 this season. The Golden Gophers haven't had this many victories since 2003.

Quarterback Philip Nelson Finished 15/24 for 186 yards and a touchdown, Nelson also ran for 40 yards and a touchdown for the Gophers.

The Gophers will be back in action at home on November 23rd for a big game against the Wisconsin Badgers.
