MINNEAPOLIS - Head coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure around halftime today before the Gophers defeated Western Illinois with a final score of 29-12.

Kill has epilepsy and was lying on the ground with medical staff surrounding him and was taken off the field on a stretcher.

This is Kill's third documented episode during a game at Minnesota since 2011.

The University says Kill is now resting comfortably after being taken from the game.

David Cobb and Rodrick Williams Jr. both scored a pair of touchdowns to lead the Gophers to victory. The Gophers are now 3-0 to start of the season, and will take on San Jose State at home next week.
