Gopher Women Top Michigan In Double Overtime

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Michigan 82-78 in double overtime Thursday night.  Kiara Buford led the Gophers with 21 points and Brianna Mastey added 19 points.  Mastey is a Becker native.  Minnesota shot 47 percent while Michigan shot 39 percent.  The Gophers are 12-16 overall and 4-11 in the Big Ten.  Minnesota will host Michigan State at 2pm Sunday.
