Gopher Basketball Takes Down New Orleans

MINNEAPOLIS - Andre Hollins picked up 18 points as the Minnesota Gophers took down New Orleans 80-65 yesterday.

Making his season debut, center Mo Walker scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Minnesota.

The Gophers now hold an 8-2 record this season. They return to action Tuesday night in the Williams Arena to host South Dakota State. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
