Gopher Basketball Faces First Big Ten Road Test Wednesday

The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team had mixed results in their first two Big Ten home games. Tonight the Gophers face their first road test on the conference schedule with a game at Penn State (5:30 PM, AM 1390 The Fan).

The Gophers suffered a disappointing 63-60 loss to Michigan in their conference opener on January 2nd, but bounced back to beat Purdue in their second game on January 5th. Minnesota has only played one true road game this season, a 74-59 win at Richmond on November 16th.

Penn State is 9-6 overall but 0-2 in Big Ten Conference play so far this season. The Nittany Lions fell 79-63 at home against #5 Michigan State on New Year's Eve, then were defeated 75-55 at Illinois on January 4th.
