GC Lumberjacks Top North Iowa 8-3

The Granite City Lumberjacks downed the North Iowa Bulls 8-3 Sunday.  The Lumberjacks scored 4 2nd period goals and were led by Aiden Verbeke with 2 goals and 2 assists and Matt Peterson added 1 goal and 1 assist for Granite City.  Scott Murray had 18 saves for the Lumberjacks.

Granite City lost 5-4 at Breezy Point in Pequot Lakes on Saturday night.  The Lumberjacks have lost just once this season.
